Karate-Do Kenwakan has emerged as a unique combination of traditional Japanese karate and modern western somatic movement science.

The Society For Martial Arts Instruction is a not–for-profit organization offering karate classes in NYC, and committed to empowering people of all ages through the knowledge and practice of martial arts and somatic movement sciences. It is the home of the first teacher training program for martial artists that combines Laban Movement Analysis and embodied anatomy and kinesiology.
